pic request: 50% tint all around (preferably Anthracite/Ebony)

By my point of view, 50% means no-tint. But if concerning with the regulations in CA, you may tint lighter in the front and darker in the back.
One of my friends' BMW is tinted with 15% all around, except the windshield and driver side window. I
at him each time I see his car in LA.

yeah... i don't really like the look of different level tints... I'm either going all 35% or all 50%... but, since the TL is already at 70% (stock), wouldn't adding 50% tint be close to 35% overall, since the tint is on the inside of the window? so like, 30% is blocked, then an additional 50% from the tint. Does this make sense, or does it just not work this way? (not sure about the overall 30%... i'm no math whiz)

there's another member here who's name is nathansilver. we met at a meguiars clinic and he has the anthracite/ebony and 50% tint. although i haven't seen him post in a while. you might wanna pm him. do consider that the tint will appear darker coz your interior is ebony.

Actually, we discussed this topic before. http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82005
Due to some reasons, final tinting results are a little different.
IMO, since you like all around tints with the same level of "coefficient", the best way to do is to check the 35% and 50% cars and sit insides to feel which one would be better for U.
As w1n78 said, interior is another factor which would make your car look darker. (from outsides not insdies)

I have 35%'s all around. I agree with rets that 50% might be too light...but that is just personal preference.
You can see my pics in my sig if you want to see what 35%'s look like. It does look slightly darker just because I also have the ebony interior.

Qali,
I have an Anthracite/Ebony with %50 tint. I live in San Jose, so it you don't mind traveling to South San Jose, I'll show you my car, and also let you know where you can get your car tinted for under $200 total.

I was actually thinking that route too (50% around, 35% on the back)... I just don't like the light dirver's windows with dark rear/passenger windows.. i think that should all be the same...
got any pics?
Mike:
I will PM you... thanks for the offer.

I got mine 20% on the sides and back. It's not hard at all to see out of day or nite, and it matches the dark color of the ABP perfectly I think. It's 20% tint and 20% mirror, not so mirrored that it looks gangsta, but enough to make it look shiny like the paint.
It's 100% UV blocking and definately a big plus in the cooling department, as I learned when I had one of the loaners with no tint.
can check a few pix..
