If you're looking for outside visual differences:
-the exhausts are different
-and the foglight housings are different-Base TL fogs "point up" and Type S fogs "point down".
-the wheels are different.
I did a reply before to this (with pictures) somewhere before on Acurazine, but couldn't find it in Search.

Here's the Base TL (notice the fog light housing)
If you're looking for outside visual differences:
