Phones

I was wondering, where does everyone put their phone while driving? (Other than your pockets) If you have something modded, pictures would be cool to see.

Cup holder or that space in the bottom compartment in front of the gear shifter. My blackberry fits perfectly right next to the 110V plug

On top of the closed cup holder compartment-facing up. I use the HFL, but now I can see the picture of the person that is calling.

i have a motorolla that looks like a razor but it's not. I have my cup holder closed and lay it horizontally which fits perfectly and it won't slide. i even put my mp3 player on top of the cup holder as well.

Am I the only TL owner that puts the phone inside the top compartment under the center console armrest??
I use that compartment on trips over 1/2 hour and to charge the phone when necessary.

Otherwise, I either put the phone and holster in a cupholder, or put the phone itself on top of the semi-closed cup holder compartment cover, with the handle of the compartment cover holding the phone on one side against the armrest.

I have the iPhone with iSimple so I have a holder that I attatched off the siding next to your right leg. It always stays charged, plays my music and cuts off for the HFL.

Right now they are cracking down on using your phone while driving in our place. I personally know people that got a ticket recently because of talking. I can drive my 6spd while talking no prob. But if i got a little gizmo built in, why not use it and avoid a possible 200 dollar fine.

Always in the front cupholder. If cupholders are being used, then on the flat area by the gear shift.
IMO- phones shouldn't be in your pocket while driving.

I put it in the center console armrest, top level. But I think I'm going to start placing my blackberry in the lower compartment beside the 110v plug.

You mean the 12V plug, right?
There is a hole/slot in the bottom of the upper compartment that allows you to plug the phone charger into the lower compartment power outlet, while trailing the phone plug into the top compartment where the phone is placed-- at least that's what I do.

Glove compartment connected to my iSimple to play music. I am able to control it via the radio dials or steering wheel dials. I only bring it (iPhone) out when I need directions (non-nav).

Sorry, I meant by the 12v plug in front of the shifter. I also know about the slot for the wire, I use that for my aux. Thanks though
