Yes I know, they're usually fake and a waste of money. I probably should expect sarcasm (ALOT OF IT, especially when I saw the last thread about this) pertaining to this. But I just want to know why that:

1. The User has a lot of good feedback.
2. What are they claiming it does? And what do they claim how it does it?
3. Do you think it could increase a little HP/MPG (No I'm not going to exagerate and go 100+HP OR 20+ MPG, but like 1-2 more MPG and 5-10 HP.

I just want to know, because I was always curious. Mechanics that I know says this is a complete BS because if this really increased MPG/HP than every car manufacturer would be using this product and other things. I was just going to buy and try it for the heck of it.

Some chips like the vishnu in the vid below are real, but they are not cheap & generally only work on turbos by increasing the boost.

Not my car in the vid but it was taken at my old home track.

The one you listed, if real, would have already been bought up by the factory to help with advertised HP & US government CAFE requirements.

 

don't always trust a user's feedback on ebay...scammers always find a way to make themselves look good...

stick with the "it's too good to be true" method...

 

the vishnu chip increases the boost thus causing more power. On NA cars a retune really won't help out unless the manufacturer intentionally bumped down the power.

Here is some feedback you may have missed:
A big rip off its just an empty case filled with glue and two wires in it.
i'm still only getting 10 to 12 mpg
Item is not sold as described. I was shipped an empty box with some wires.
cheesy product doesnt work
Didn't work like expected not hard to install just had higher hopes for this dev
begged twice for positive feedback, didnt see if product is effective quick ship

 

acura's engine management system will adapt to any piggyback stuff and adjust accordingly...it's a waste of money.......

I would like to buy one of these just to open it and see if it really is just a resistor hot glued to a plastic case with a fancy sticker on it!


BTW.. You can get this for about $1.00 at radio shack.. resistor + wire ftw.
(don't buy it please...)

 

i had this on a 01 lincoln ls and it actually helped me it gained 2mpg horsepower i dont really know
