For people that wired their accord fog lights to parking lights

Hey guy i just wire the fog lights to the parking light and now i have a few questions.

1.Did you guys put hid lower fog lights? and what temp?
2.When you use the remote to lock and unlock the door does it go on and off?
3.Is it bad for the hid to go on and off when you unlock and lock your car?
4.How long you had that bulb and did you have previous bulb that burned out?
5.What fuse did you use? i used 15. is it good enough?

I'm sorry if these questions are nub or pointless but i just want to know.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

yes its bad if you wire them to your parking lights because everytime u lock and unlock the car your hids will flicker

my friend burned out his bulbs and blew a kit because of this before
when u lock and unlock the kit doesnt have enough time to warm up all the way
i suggest you wire them to the stock fog lights or make a separate switch for it

I have installed over 5 kits and wire them to the stock fog lights switch and sometimes do the mod to make it independent, thanks to a member on here.

I would never wire them to the parking lights as what MRLAL8 said, it will burn out. Fuses? What do you mean by that? If you wire it to any stock system they have their own fuse. You can as a precaution use an add a fuse in the middle of the stock wires and fogs but that isn't necessary.

I had mine wired up to the parking lights... thinking it'll be just like OEM. On only when my parking lights are on.
I forgot about the flickering after the wire-tapping was done.
Thank goodness there is a switch!

If you do choose to wire the fogs to the parking lights---ALWAYS remember to turn off the switch. I am used to turning everything on my car off before I exit my car so it's no hassle for me. It may be for others, though.

I did mine slightly different from other members and use the fuse for my DRL (which is a 15a). I deleted my DRLs so... I essentially had a "free" fuse to use in the fusebox.
