Passenger window open

Passenger window open
MY SSm / Non-navi has 4,000Kms(2500Miles), VIN #80####. When I went out from work today the passenger window was down, all others up & the alarm was still on, any ideas?
Has anyone noticed a slight noise when vehicle cold as you start moving( sounds like A/C compressor kicking in), not A/C as it did today when A/c was off?
No other issues, love the car I am getting about 24.5mpg to date.
oil threads are interesting, I still are nor decided on what to do.

hey do this. every morning when you get ready to go.. pay attention to this.. start your car.. and you might go reverse ... but it wont do it till you go DRIVE.. you will hear a glump and feel it on the accelerator pedal. its not the AC. its the BRAKES>>>>!!!! the ABS sensors kicking in and adjusting themselves every time you dive. after you leave the car off for a period of time this will happen. NORMALL.. dont worry. about your window.. dont really know.. watts up with that..

Finally!
GunnmeTaLCURA04, thanks a bunch for clearing this "clunk" noise up for me. It's been driving me crazy, and I keep forgetting to look in the garage section for an explanation. I have the 6 speed, and if you have your foot on the clutch pedal when this happens, you can feel a small "kick" through the pedal. Whew, thought it was something major.

The ABS pumps cycle as aprt of the ABS check - it also ensures the brake fluid circulates, prolongs the life of the seals, etc.
Here are a couple of easy to do, good tips to extend the life even more:
1) Get a turkey baster - clean it, and air dry it, leave it in a clean Ziploc bag
2) Once a month, remove the brake reservoir cap, and use the baster to draw out the fluid until you have about 1" remaining in the reservoir. DO NOT GO LOWER THAN THIS - you might allow air into the system. Carefully, put the used fluid in a beer can or another ziploc bag - put towels over the paintwork, and have water ready in case you get any on the paint - if you do, wipe it, and flush with plenty of water.
3) Top off the brake fluid with DOT3 Hoinda brake fluid, from a clean can.
Doing this once a month will extend the life of the brake fluid, as it gradually does worlk its way through the system. You still should do a complete flush/bleed every two years.
Here is a tip for the ABS.
Once a month, find a small gravel or sandy spot on a wellknown road, with no traffic. Do a hard enough brake to cause the ABS to activate - this will keep the fluid and valves well lubed, and ensure your ABS willw ork when you really need it.

To hold the remote too long may cause all windows down... dunno, why the passenger window is the only target...
