Question Passenger Side Mirror in Reverse

Okay, after having the car 4 months, I just noticed that when I have the car in reverse, the drivers side goes all the way down and the passengers doesn't.
I am hoping this is what its suppose to be.
Any insight would be great..

Only one mirror will tilt down (or neither), depending what you select with the 3-position horizontal switch near the mirror heater switch (beneath the driver's-side dash A/C vent).

This has bugged me also, how much more difficult would it have been to make both tilt down? Other cars tilt down both...

This is a needed mod. Coming up with a way to have both mirrors, as opposed to none, lowering when you have the control switch in the center position and put the car in reverse.

If such a mod were offered, I'd jump on it quicker than a fat kid on a cupcake.

Here's to hoping they do.

When I inquired about this feature, I was told by the salesperson that it was not wise to have both mirrors go down for safety reasons. You want to be certain you can see objects from one of the mirrors especailly during parallel parking. Somewhat makes sense, but I can easily turn my head as well to look.

Yeah, just leave your right side mirror to tilt down all the time. It's actually beneficial.

1. When parking on the street, 95% of the time it's on your right side and you would like to be able to see the curb.

2. You can see the lines separating parking spaces in an empty parking lot when attempting to reverse into a space (obviously you can use the left as well, but why change it from right to left? Just set it once and forget about it).
