Sorry to say this, but I have to agree. I live in the next town over (right across the Passaic River) and I hate having to go through Paterson. One time my GPS was taking me from Wayne to Paramus and I was going through every yellow turning red, with my windows up, and my doors locked as fast as I could. Usually the furthest I go is Micro Center or my dad has been going to Hacienda over on Route 20 lately with our neighbors to eat. Anyway, still sorry to hear about your car.

 

Patterson NJ? the US crime stats are above avg for property crimes, and WAY above for violent crimes in Patterson. Moving might be in your best interest. I hate my commute to work, but I love my safe little slice of the dream,
and my two car garage.

Someone kneed the hood of my 97 accord years ago, and plenty of people tried to slim Jim the driver’s door with no success..

2 weeks after I bought my 07tl I got the viper 5704 installed. It comes with a 13 or 14 level adjustable shock sensor. I went to best buy and you can have proximity sensors, and another shock sensor installed on the car for 200$. I Think I over paid but I paid 800$ total for my viper, without the extra shock, and proximity.. but im going to get another shock sensor installed soon.
They also have a smartphone app...

3 years ago my TLS was parked in the driveway of my GF's place overnight, located close to the Haledon border in a normal neighborhood. They stole my factory wheels & left the car sitting on bricks crushing the A-spec spoiler. THANK YOU. That whole town could burn to the ground & I wouldn't care. My GF now lives in an apartment in wayne & has a garage & guess where my TLS gets parked when I go there?

Smh, I would recommend a moving shotgun that shoots anything that moves 1 foot near your car when it is armed. Good luck on getting everything fixed.

 

Sorry to hear that dude, I live on the Paterson boarder and they got me too for my trunk spoiler about 2 years ago. It was the bolt on one too so you know i was heated about the bolts just sticking out of my trunk. Going through insurance was pointless. I just copped the stick on one off of E-bay which covers up the holes and minor scratches. What section of the city are you in?

My GF's brother in law is a doctor in passaic, whenever we go to see him its on a saturday afternoon & I park the TLS in her garage in wayne then she drives us there in her 2005 civic. When I was getting shots in my back at St Josephs hospital in Paterson I took my 98' Accord.
Here's the other thing, drivers in passaic & paterson drive like complete Aholes, in fact they don't know how to drive, a majority do not have a license or even insurance & they don't care. If you get hit by them they will drive off. 2 weeks ago we nearly got Tboned by some young, ignorant kid who blew a red light, then literally laughed at us.

I work in what used to be called west Patterson(town next to Patterson). The town voted to change the name to woodland park a few years back because they didn't want to be associated with Patterson. I didn't even know you could do that. Talk about a waste of tax dollars to change all the signs and govt vehicles decals. Sorry for it happening to ur car bro. Shouldnt happen no matter where u live. I am watching my car like a hawk these days.
