Parking Brake Adjustment

So the parking brake on my '08 TL needs to be adjusted. It only works if you are facing downhill. If you are facing uphill and put it on it doesn't even catch. I took one of the rotors off today and the parking brake pads are fine, its just the cable that needs to be adjusted. Does anyone know where the adjustment nut is at or how you adjust it? Thanks

Adjust at the wheels first by going in through the rotors. See if that helps. If not, on to the cable.

There is also talk of "conditioning" the rear brakes by engauging it while driving slowly to bed in the pads. I did it for 20-30 seconds at a time at 10 mph, maybe 4-5 times. There is also a slot on the bottom of the rear brakes that allow you to adjust the parking break shoes or pads. The cable is a pain to adjust, since you have to remove the middle console if I remember correctly.

Yeah I figured it out about five minutes after I posted this. Haha I just adjusted it at the rotors and it's working fine now. Thanks anyway

Just so other people can know.

On the rear rotors, there is a rubber plug. Remove that and turn the rotor so the hole is around 6 o'clock. Stick a flat blade screw driver in there and adjust till tight and then back it off a little.
