How is the fitment of the c-mod grill? I know the one for my car(03 cl) fits horribly and a lot of their grills don't fit the cars right since they don't even use a full car to mock them up.

One example was they used just a front bumper to mock it up, but then when everyone bought them they found out the hood would not close.

Then the company wants you to help them fix it by doing their job for them at your expense.

Joke of a company.

^yup exactly, that's why the DIY way is much better, cheaper, and more attractive.

I wanted to ask how does that grill mesh look when installed? Can you easily see the hood latch behind it?

For my grill, the hood latch would look so ugly behind it.

I get all my mesh from here. Good quality stuff, not the cheap looking ebay stuff.

it looks great installed, one of my fav mods to date. here are a few pics of mine. for the hood latch area, you have to cut a little bit lower on the mesh, so that the latch doesnt smack against the grill when you open/close the hood. i used a piece of weatherstripping on the top so that it looks as clean as it possibly can.

sure we did. we all said don't use the c-mod grill because it's junk.

sell the c-mod grill on ebay and DIY grill. it'll look way better, and you'll learn something along the way.

and either way, c-mod grill or DIY grill...the end result is very similar. i showed you 2 different colored TL's. one was ASM and one was NBP. not sure what else you want.

I agree with UA6, sell the c-mod and do the open grill mod. You'll have to cut the horizontal bar out either way, and the c-mod ones have fitment issues.

Don't mean to sound mean but if that's the case... then why did you buy the C-Mod grille?
You HAVE to cut the stock grill for the C-Mod to even fit. The cross-bar from the grill is apart of the bumper.
