Painting Backup sensors

(Hope this is in the right forum)

I purchased a set of black backup sensor when I was on travel in Asia last year.

I want it to match the color of my car, Anthracite Metallic (NH643M). Is it possible and would it ruin or deterioate its sensing ability?

If it is possible, kindly direct me on how.

Can local body shops do it? Since other cars with sensors get painted.

Thanks in advance.

as long as it is not metallic paint you should be fine. It won't match perfectly, but it should be better than black. Body shop ought to be able to do it. Or just look where you are going when backing up.
