Overhead console/lights loose

The overhead console that contains the lights is loose. Is there a thread that addresses this issue?
Also the fabric on the part of the headliner that is below the antenna is sagging. Is there a thread on this?
Tried doing a "search" and couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance for the help.

When you say "below the antenna," do you mean the third (high) brake light cover? The sun bakes the cover on the black side, and the fabric sags as the glue loosens. Those are replaced under warranty. Your dealer will need to order the part.

By now, Acura has replaced so many that they've probably made a change to the adhesive.

See your service manager for both problems. It is their job to fix it. Some repairs can be done by the owner, while others are best left to the dealer. These two fall in the dealer category.

I had the same issue, I've heard a squeaky sound within the last week and today when I went to open the moonroof, then damn console came off the roof!! It's now parked in my garage with the console hanging by the electric wires.

I'm heading into my dealer to tomorrow to have them look at it. I have the Nav pkg, and noticed that the bluetooth module is in the console above the rearview mirror (I can see it in there since it's all hanging down, and blocking the rear view mirror). I'm wondering if the bluetooth module is adding too much weight and causing it to come lose.

Anyway I'll post the result.

as far as your overhead console rattling.....it's really easy to remove. I pulled it out in order to hardwire my radar detector to the 12V for the sunroof. The only tool you need to pull it out is a small flathead to pop the map light lenses out.
