Outside temperature how low does it work?

Question Outside temperature how low does it work?

I live in RI and it was in the teens or single digits this morning, How low is the temperature guage suppose to register? The guage would not work this morning on the way to work.

I dont know exactly but I've had it dip to -5.

In Canada we are on the metric system (I still can't figure it out though) and my temp gauge was -21. Thank god for heated seats!!!

The range should be something like -40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 50°C), this is typical for most ambient temp sensors

I would think that is probably close, but do not know for certain.



As long as we are sharing cold temperature stories, it was down to a freezing 54 degrees the other night and required me to wear my leather jacket.

My temp sensor is always 4 degrees higher then it really is outside. I know somone posted on another thread how to adjust it but I forgot how to do it. Anyone know how? Thanks :-)
