I guess its not for everyone. The tls are paided off and don't cost us much beside the insurance that is only on about 6 to 7 months out of the year. Both of them are up to date with all maintence as well. So besides the gas, we just enjoy them.

2nd owner here, 2007 Base TL. Pick her up May 2010. No way I could afford her new at the time. It kills me to know she was somebody's elses prior to me lol. No major issues. New set of wheels every year keeps me from straying elsewhere. Cant bring myself to ever let her go.
Original owner of my 06 TL since 8/31/06. Just hit 88K today. I had an itch for something rwd and mt so I strongly considered trading her for a new mustang 5.0. I couldn't bring myself to part with her, so I picked up an S2000 instead. Till death do us part.
Originally picked up the TL new in April 2005.
152K miles or so; original transmission.
I looked at possible replacements starting in 2009 or so, but haven't been enamored with anything else yet.
