Ordered 05 Tl Today

I went to Park Ave Acura today in North Jersey and ordered my 05 TL w/navi desert mist parchment. They said they expect in mid OCT. If anybody goes there deal with Paul he is the best! I got 1400.00 MSRP but they don't know what the MSRP will be yet?

I love mine. I'm going on a major (for me) road trip starting the end of August. It will be close to 4000 miles I think. The seats are very comfortable in spite of my being, well, fat. I have the a-spec package which has taking out a lot of the torque steer. It is much less skittish under hard acceleration than before.

You must be in the 2nd 05 allocation. I already have my order in and expected delivery is mid Sept.

you better make sure w/ your dealer that this is true -- i am getting my 04 in mid august (actually build date is 8/23) -- and dealer told me if i wanted to wait, the 05's first time available on market will be mid october. -- I reconfirmed this w/ two other dealers in my area.

Just looking out for ya.

I saw them allocate it on their internet site with my own 2 eyes. Their allocations were due Tuesday last week. Actual delivery dates are always vague (+/- 1 week) but I believe it.

05 RL allocations went in too. Their expected delivery will be mid Oct.

That is awsome then, good for you. I am still going to wait for my 04 at the end of august. Don't feel like paying the extra money for a brand new model and not getting much more for the extra cash. -- I hear there are no real significant changes to the 05.

No one knows for sure yet what will be in the 05TL. If they tell you otherwise, they're blowing smoke in your face.

05 delivery date . . .

When my dealer here in Indiana called me with my order for an 05, he told me that the build was going to be the last week of August with expected delivery date of mid-September. He's been fairly honest with me, but I'd thought I'd put it out here for your opinion.

Rumor has it Acura will be dumping the BS tires, but it's only a rumor. Even when the 05 brochure comes out, it probably won't list the brand of tires. I don't think anyone will know what rubbers the 05 will wear until the first one rolls off the truck.

Well it's very safe to say that if he is getting $1400 of a 2005 NAVI then there is absolutely nothing changing from the 2004's to the 2005's, including the tires.

He's said he's getting $1,400 off MSRP; he never said MSRP isn't changing. A deal can be made relative to MSRP without knowing what it is.
