Yes, another thread about MTF, lol. I'm up here in the great white north and have been to several GM dealers only to be told they dropped the Friction Modified Synchromesh up here and shipping from south of the border is ludicrous. Does anyone know of a Canadian source for ordering it? Or is there any alternatives that yield the same results? (RP synchromax, BG synchroshift II, Penzoil synchromesh)

 

Have you searched all 3 part numbers for the fluid? I think it's sold as and AC delco product now. If you google " 06 Acura TL GM tranny fluid". You should be able to find all the part numbers and something online for Canada.

 

They do sell and stock Syncromesh in Canada. Depending on the GM dealership they may need to order it in for you. Bought six bottles last week. The Canadian part number is 10953509. It will just be listed as "fluid" at the dealership. If you still have problems getting it in Nova Scotia, I help you by shipping you bottles from Toronto if your in need. Just PM me if you cant find it up there. Call the dealership and ask for the part number above.
