opinions on tailight tint film

----2008 TL Carbon Bronze----OK--I removed the trunk emblems (after sitting in the sun I was able to pick them off with my fingers--the car is new)) and now the tail lights look too red. I see DIY tint film kits cut to size and in bulk for head and tail lights..some recommendations please--whats easy and looks good for the tailights. I think I will leave the headlights alone. TIA

I was very pleased with the tail light tint I got from Jeff @ Flatline for my IS300. I've got a PM in with him on the IS boards to find out if he makes the same tint for the TL. I'll let you know what I find out!

Look for user Blue Batmobile .. he sells vinyl overlays precut for the TL tails. And very good quality.

Just picked up a tail light tint kit from Rockblocker and headlight / foglight kit from Flatline. I'll let you know, both are very high quality but the rockblocker film looks to be a little bit thicker

Tinted with paint looks pretty good, if done right. But the overlays look cheap to me because of the surface peel. I'm sure not all are like this, just the one's I've seen don't look good at all up close, rockblockers included.
