I say go with clear matte, I also bought them from USR havent had any issues

I put type S on mine but sort of miss the solid red to be honest. I purchased the depo type s off ebay and the fitment is not perfect but at least they dont leak like the ones I had on my Accord. Go with Type S if any.

Its bad enough you rear end someone but then you try to use a lame excuse to get out of it. If the lights light up red how is it the lights fault?

I'm considering buying these same tail lights and was wondering if they have a different diffuser to light up like the Type-s tail lights do? After reading this if I do buy these I'll go over them with sealers and possible add some moisture absorbers packets.Any were else I can get some for around the same price?
