Is it only me (noise)?

Is it me or do you guys also notice the loud click noise when you shift from park or something?

oh ok, but it is louder than any other car I've heard.

that is a great idea, I was thinking from the transmission shifter, yep, one of the settings locks the doors when it goes out of park!

no no I know its not the auto lock, its from the transmission....open your window and shift, you should be able to hear it, or its only me...

That's an Acura/Honda thing. While not attractive, its normal.

iit is def a honda thing... i was parked side by side talking to a friend in school on monday (he drives a 03 Accord: current gen), and we were both in drive but had with feet on brakes, when we realized it was going to be a semi-long conversation he put his car into park and there were more than one click as the transmission went through reverse and to park, i changed to park and i heard my car click loudly too.
