One Blade Or Two?

I am getting comflicting reports that some do one blade for application for the moleskin and some do both blades. Anyone want to ring in as to how either work?

It's recommended to do both blades. However, some folks have done one (lower, I believe). Do a search on moleskin or tint and you'll find loads of info on it. Also check on posts by flnsx and cvjas. Here's a start Moleskin

I'm a pro-tinter and i noticed that not all tl's need the moleskin. It seems only one in 5 car's need them. so far i tinted about 15 tl's included mine and only two customer came back. It depends on what kind of film you use, if you use the higher end film it will scratch. The higher end film tend to be more thicker.

you must do both wipers because each rubs the glass. i recommend you do each with it's own strip of moleskin and do the upper one with a thinner strip so that the lower wipe can fold in without interference from the upper.

the door panel must be removed, no shortcuts to get the wipe moldings out.

the higher end films also are made from better materials and are more scratch-resistent. better to be safe than sorry, do the moleskin.

I agree with cvajs.

Most of the work in doing moleskin is taking the door off. It's not a lot more effort to do a thorough job and put moleskin on both wipers.
