Oil change at a honda dealership?

Has anyone done this before? Taking ur TL to honda service area to get an oil change?

THe reason i ask cause the honda dealership around here offer coupons for oil change while the acura dealership holds back and offer only 10% of Nitrogen for ur tires lmao

Why is the dealer changing your oil?
Save time and money by doing it at home
Use better oil and filter too!

Yep, do it yourself. That way you know what was done, how it was done, what was used, and then there is this. No one is going to treat your car as you do. It's your property.

I change the oil myself as well - mobile1 and honda filters - but we have taken our mdx to a honda dealer for service. No problems with that.

I will be taking my car to the Acura dealership. Reasons why...

For 29.99 is it really worth my time?
I get a free car wash inside and out.
I get free lunch and coffee.
There are hot chicks that are all over my dealership.
They top off all my fluids.
I don't have to dispose of the old oil.
I don't have to clean my tools.
I don't have to wash my hands 8 times.
I don't have to find cardboard to lay on.
I don't have to clean the floor where I dripped oil.

I've taken them to Acura / Honda, both do a good job. Acura has gave me free oil changes when I orginally purchased the car.

One thing to note, I would never let acura wash my car, they do more HARM then good, I've noticed my paint all scratched up after there complimentary washes.

As for doing oil changes at home? probably not 5months of the year it averages -20 to 25degrees. Not worth the agony.

After the 1st year of going to Acura for oil changes, i now ONLY go to Honda dealerships for oil changes...the staff is nicer, they seem much faster and much more intelligent (they know honda's much better, it seems) and most of all, its the exact same oil for about 1/2 the price! They always treat me great in there too...I have no issues with using Honda for just oil changes ect...

I also take my car to the dealer for oil changes. But I don't let them wash my car and there are no hot chicks at my Dealer.

I did take my car to a honda dealer once for an oil change, no problems.

Last time i went to my closest Honda dealer(4miles drive) for TL filter, than they told me they don't carry filters for TLs. So evey time when i go to acura dealer (20 miles away), i alway buy a extra filter before i leave.

I take my car to Honda while I'm at school for 8 months of the year, Service is friendly and somewhat fast, the oil and the parts are the same and the best of all it costs less.

uh what? That honda dealer sounds iffy... your TL uses honda branded filters.
