Oil Change help
Ok the oil life it <15% so i ahve to do it soon. Now i dont have the manual cause i bought the car without one so a few questions.
How many quarts does it take?
How to reset the oil life counter?
How to turn off service B light cause all it is is an oil change with a shitload of visual inspections that i am more than capable of performing myself.
Now on these cars when you do the oil and replce is with new oil do you just start it up or is there an igniter or something that i can unpug in order to circulate the oil and prevent a dry start?
Thanx

Here's a link to PDF owner's manuals.

The Refill amount is in the Maint section. So is the reset on the MID, I think.

oil reset procedure (the manual leaves a step out):
-goto the 'oil life' on your MID
-hold select button in for 10 seconds (until service message comes up)
-hold select button again for 10 seconds
-it will ask to hit 'ok' or 'cancel' - hit your select button to reset

Put some fresh oil into the filter before you install it. Also a little oil on the oring and the threads will make life easier next oil change

It's got Hyperlinks to each section - click on the Blue page numbers. Then the arrows at the top to go to the next page.

I get free oil change for life at my dealer so I am going by the MID. My first oil change was around 5K. Is that normal? I would think around 3K I would get a notice...
