Oh wow this sucks
It popped off when i was washing the car last week. I just popped it back into place and even heard it click. now i get home from work and guess what. its gone! SOB!

how do u install it on the drivr side is it easy or hard ? do u gota custom anything and can i get the steps on how i always thought about it cuz i did it to my integra...so now i wanna do it to this car

I've heard those lil covers are known for falling off. Shouldnt cost that much to get it replaced at Jerry Damson Acura. They seem more than willing to honor warranty repairs. I've never had a problem with them.

If it is out of warranty- then all we can hope for is that the dealer will goodwill the job per the TSB. Someone in the know- correct me if I am wrong.

Go get a new battery. I think it'll still unlock your car just fine with a weakened battery. There is plenty of degradation of performance to let you know it's time to replace the battery without it stranding you.
The main thing some will lose by hiding that keyhole is the ability to roll up all the windows at once, unless they've installed the window roll-up module.
