i recently purchased a pair of oem tl-s rear side markers and i removed the old pair. i notcied that the connector does'nt fit into the new ones, what are your suggestion on this fix? any info would help thx. i tried the serach info but it came up with plenty of useless posts.

 

It will fit...you'll just need to push a little more firmly...the plastic will give. They changed connectors across years for some reason, but all of us who've installed these have come across the same issue. It made me a little nervous when I installed mine, but everything worked out nicely.

You can get depo brand and it is cheaper.

 

I remember buying mine off of ebay from CurryAcura...$109 for the pair of Type-S Smoked marker lights.

 

got mine off of ebay... says they're the oem ones front & back pair for like 75.00
i'd never pay 109 each for sidemarkers...

 

Factory S rear markers are $100-$110 for the pair from most mail order dealers.

 

Same place I got mine. I just snipped off the little tab and the plug fit fine.

Thanks TLDude I went to the dealership to see how much they were and to see if they fit and the guys there had no idea if one fit the other.. Isn't that their job lol
