Hey y'all, I'm in the middle of replacing my bulbs, and resealing my passenger side headlight (looks like a sauna at times). When I happen to notice that my bulbs were Zenarcs. The only time we replaced the bulbs was when my wife had a nasty fender bender,and the dealer replaced the right headlight (which now fogs), iirc I thought we used philips as OEM... I just bought a new pair of CBIs to "Upgrade" my bulbs. I have a 2007 type s,and I'm kinda confused at the moment.

Removing the driver side headlight was a PITA, stupid intake silencer was in the way of the ballast brackets. Do I need to reinstall the brackets?

 

I would reinstall the brackets and they hold the ballast in place.. I wouldnt just leave it hanging like that.. YOu can be looking at buying a new ballast if it gets damaged.
