OEM brembo front rotor
I am actually getting a pair of front brembo rotors from oemacuraparts.com.
May I know from you guys whether the hub needs to be painted?
How bad does the rotor hub rust if not painted?
Thanks in advance.

my OEM original rotor is 5 years old (came with the car brand new) and trust me it the hub doesn't even rust, now I have Brakemotive brake kit (not the quality as expected but you get what you pay for) I am living in a state where they have sand and salt during the winter. I thought that the rotor just get replace around a year ago, why not get Stop Tech slotted or Centric blank (same company lol) they are come painted black and the rotor overall quality is exceeding OEM and they are cheaper than OEM. I will get Stop Tech next if my car ever need rotor replacement.

The rotor hats will only rust on non-coated rotors. OE rotors are coated IIRC, as are a few aftermarket rotors, so they won't rust. Other aftermarket rotors, like Brembo "blanks" and most generics are not coated, so they will rust if you don't paint them.
The rust isn't harmful though, it's just a bit unsightly.
