Ok NY guys... I went to Rallye yesterday for inspection, the guy came back saying he can't pass me because of the switchbacks and white markers (fender). I tried to question and argue but no luck.. What's funny is that I had last yr inspection passed at the same place, only thing different is the white side markers. So does anyone else having this issue..

I used to have a Ford Explorer.. and i had a Blue LED for my alarm/remote start... they failed my inspection b/c you cant have "blue" lights in the car... i said to them , the light is only on when the car is off.... didnt matter... those fckers

bring it to a local mechanic.. you'll be fine

why do you go to rallye. go to a local spot. i think you should either do the blinking side mirrors, or have them turn the switchbacks on with the lights off, that way it only blinks amber

thats what i was thinking too... i hope thats what he was doing because i would never go to the DEALER just to get an inspection done... i hope they idnt enforce the pass/fail pay regardless rule cause then that would've really sucked...

thanks guys.. I will take it to a local spot. I wanted to go the dealer thinking I would get a thorough inspection. I know some local places that just do the DMV part only. I will try to fine a good spot around my area. The good thing is that I didn't pay.

if that is a route you want to go, get the 24 or 44 or whatever it is, point inspection.

disconnect the front sidemarkers...you won't pass with a LED blue/white sidemarker...they want yellow...at least in PA. white blinkers should be fine...led white i dunno

i have free inspection for life at dealership, that's why my car didn't mod anything.
