Went for a drive from Palmdale up to Mt. Wilson...On the way home my poor TL had an enconter with the head of a deer on the inside clipping point...no bueno...

You're lucky it wasn't worse. You could have hit the deer head-on at high speed and been seriously injured if not killed.

We have a huge deer problem around here (northeast US) - sometimes they wander out onto 4-lane divided highways! On local streets, I have to mind the deer as well as children and dogs.

Take care.

Wink

We play with elk in WA...make deer look like mice and the bulls don't even run since they're bigger than most cars...LOL. I had a near miss with one at high speed on my Gixxer 1K...that would've been UGLY! I swear he winked at me when I grazed him! Glad your insurance is going to kick in and take care of the damage.
