Nosemask fender clips
Bought a used nosemask on eBay ($76 total, with shipping...), however it came without the fender snap-clips to go under the hood. My dealer says they can not get them without ordering a whole nosemask as a set...
[I know, I know, some think they look ugly, will rot the paint, flap around too much. However, I drive about 3,000 miles a month (don't ask me about the 12K miles per year on my lease...), all Interstate, and wanted to cut down on the rock chips and bug splats.]
So, does anyone:
(1) Know where I can get a set of the snap clips by them selves?
(2) Have a set they are willing to sell me?
(3) Have a used TL that came with clips, but don't use the nosemask (see #2)?
Thanks,
Dave

What did the original seller on Ebay say to you? No clips?
I don't think the full nose mask is that bad. It's just one of ways to protect your car. Some ppl prefer to have the clear bra, but some use this conventional nose mask.
I've found out it works pretty well in protecting the hood and bumper during my highs peed driving on highways. However, it does requre the extra care during the snowy and rainy days.

Those clips are a common item, but it's true Acura doesn't sell them separately. Take this picture and go to any body shop or maybe even an auto parts store and I'm sure you can get them for a buck or two, maybe even free in the body shop. Or go to the dealer and ask the prep guy if he has any. These are the same type of clips used to hold lots of plastic things on the car, so they should be easy to find.

Hardware kit for Nose Mask
Been a while since I got around to tracking this down...so not sure if this was available last year.
The dealer can special order the nose mask "Hardware Kit" that has the two inserts +snap clips for installing the bra.
Honda Part Number: 08P35-SEP-200R1
Cost was $5.99, took about a week to special order.
