have any of you guys had any problems getting 35% all around without any fuss and/or without a huge price increase? i remember walking into la tint over in sterling and they wouldn't do anything other than the legal limit (50/35). but a few years earlier, my buddy got his civic tinted 35/20% at the same place.

Yes I have ceramic tint. No problems. If you want to tint 35 or other all around call Archer. I did my legal. I'm told old to be fighting the law.

The job is pretty good, but the only issue is the rear quarters were not tinted all the way behind the rubber molding. I'll just live with it for now.
Yeah Quality Tire owns The Tint Shoppe. Bent works out of the Quality Tire building. I'd say he is probably the best tinter they have.

I have an '06 TL!
I have called several places including LA Tint in manassas, and they do it for $275, but they don't offer the moleskin. I've heard really bad things about TLs and Accords, that the tint gets scratched if you don't put the moleskin. But I called Freeway Tint, and he offers the moleskin, and he charges $260 for the tint, and $25 to put the moleskin on each door, so $360 total.
What do you guys think? Doe the tint actually scratches?, can you put the moleskin yourself?

Freeway Tint is a good company. My friend Theo owns that business too. I forget about him at times because I haven't seen him in about a year or more. He might give you a discount if you tell him I sent you.

Would you be interested in a 7th? I'm looking to get mine done and if it helps everyone else get a better price, all the better.

I had mine done at LA Tint in Manassas. $245.00 for 35 all around. They would not give me a receipt and I had to pay cash because 35 on front in illegal in VA. ???? They will still warranty it. Good guys and did a good job. I wanted them to go under the seal around the small rear widows and they did without a problem.
