Well you can see you're driving highway miles, your AVG MPH is 73. I had the same MPG yesterday and about the same avg mph. Sounds about right to me. You only drove the car for 16 minutes, chances are if you were driving longer, it may have gone up or down.

The TL is all about highway driving. On long trips I'm getting 29-32mpg. Around town sometime as low as 14mpg. That's when I'm playing a bit. Nothing dangerous, just playing.

well all be damned. Just got it this weekend and been enjoying not filling up constantly. Went from a less then 100 miles to a 20 gallon tank to over 400

The thing under the right foot seems to be the fun/MPG petal. Gas mileage varies drastically in this car. I'm just glade when it's not pushed much the car can get some decent mpg numbers and when pushed hard it pretty well!

I have mostly city driving, and on the last 3 tanks of gas my mileage has been 18, 20.5, and 18.5. The 20.5 MPG tank was during a constant 5 days of rain, so couldnt really have fun. I'm only on the highway maybe 1 or 2 times a week briefly.

You guys are really funny. If we spent all of our time on the highway averaging 73 MPH then yes that's normal. Check your mileage when you average 18 MPH for a few tanks.

Anyway, enjoy it while it last.

33 on a Tank

Just got back from a weekend jaunt into the Ozarks. Keeping it on the highway at 70 with air and a 600# passenger/luggage load, I was able to get between 32 & 33 mpg. Mileage deteriorated once we got into Branson (yuck).

I don't think I ever got that good a mileage with the old '01 4-cylinder Accord.

Good (great!) mileage is possible if you keep your foot out of it.

Funny. I drove to Las Vegas this weekend with my car.

I was able to drive from San Diego to Las Vegas on ONE tank of gas at 29 MPG. If it wasn't for the patch of traffic here and there, I could have gotten past 30 for sure. This was with 5 adults and luggage.

I received compliments on how quiet and comfortable the ride is.

With my media player going, the drive was nice for my passengers.

got that once!!! filled the tank off the freeway and reset the MID. Drove for 20 miles and the MID shows 32 MPG!! I then parked the car and head to bed w/ my satisfied smile.

On the 2nd day, it was traffic all the way to work, for only 8 miles or so, the MPG dropped to from 32 to 19... Dang~~~~~!!!
