Hey Guys,

I'm not new to the scene but im new to the Acura crowd.

I just purchased a 06 WDP 6spd 2 weeks ago and I gotta say I'm in love. Car drives like a dream, shifts smooth, and is overall a lot of fun.

So far the car is bone stock, and the plan is to leave it that way performancewise. I will however end up doing the Aspec lip kit, coilovers and proably mount my wedsports SA-70s on there.

We did however find some time yesterday to wrap some of my bumper...

Hopefully I'll start seeing some of the Central Jersey guys around.

Congrats and welcome to AZ! You may want to register her at www.myacura.com. Save your Navi and radio codes there for safe keeping.

Thanks,

and, I have the mod bug. It's just that is going to be cosmetic. Performance wise the car is quick enough as is.

Judging by your weekend warrior, I'd say you're gonna have a rough time keeping that TL stock

Im from piscataway, my buddy did the carbonfiber work, It takes too much patience that I dont have. I can ask him if he'd be interested in doing a few more bumpers lol.

And, lol dont worry the gains from bolt ons isnt worth the price to me. If I want to go fast thats what the other car is for lol.

Lol its not hard. I just gave my wife my 05 Legacy GT. Had it for 2 years and never did a thing to it performancewise. Although tempting to toss an exhaust, intake, and tune on it...I just couldn't justify the funds for it. That and if I wanted to go anywhere the stock turbo is a baby.

good luck keeping your TL stock, I see that mod bug begin already. BTW why I saw most WRX and Evo owner are getting TL as daily driving car? reliability? or just they need more room in side the car for daily commute?

Lol, I never said I'm keeping the car stock. You just wont see performance mods on this car. The car is quick enough as is.

I cant speak for all evo and sti guys, but once you heavily modify those cars... you dont really wanna be driving them everyday. Mine is actually broken currently, the front diff decided to grenade itself during a 7k launch lol. I dont think the diff was meant to take 650whp/530 tq worth of abuse lol.

Although that isnt actually the reason why I bought the TL. Its suprisingly hard to find a nice Manual Transmission 4 door car with the luxury this has for the price. Teaching my daughter how to drive on it was also a big plus lol.

TL is a family sedan, I was actually considering between 2011 WRX vs my 07 TL-S when I am looking for a car to buy but in the end I went for family comfort therefore I bought the TL (no regret). BTW how old is your daughter? look like she starting to practice the shifting pattern already. I also have a 3 months old boy.
