no tune-up required for 105,000 miles
on the acura website it says...
"3.2-Liter V-6 Engine - No scheduled tune-ups required for 105,000 miles***"
"***Does not apply to fluid and filter changes or periodic inspections. Please refer to the maintenance section of your owner's manual to determine all appropriate maintenance intervals."
Wat does "tune-up" mean specifically.

your tune up is like the spark plugs andmaybe a couple of other things but filters are changed more frequent

On my 98 CL 3.0, which is also a 105k miles inverval between tune-ups the only maint. things I did prior to 105k were:
Air cleaner ($<50)
Tranny flush ($150)
Radiator flush ($100)
Then tune-up, timing belt and water pump cost me $1k but overall that's not too bad!

It may be part of the 105K checklist; but for me this would be the second time the belt is changed.

FYI - we have a guy of this forum who has about 160,000 miles on his original timing belt (fsttyms1).
I think you're safe with the recommended 105k replacement schedule. Not all cars can go that long, but the TL can.
