Question no friction modified gm fluid

i cant find any fricton mdiifed stuff in CT. Is this no friction mdiefed stuff okay?

You want part #12377916 which is GMSFM fluid. If you can't get that, use Amsoil's product.

Question

so just to clarify you would recommend the amsoil product over the non friction modified gm syncromesh?

I have never tried the Amsoil product but it is listed as an OEM replacement for the GMSFM fluid and it is that on what I was basing my post.

Dont quote me on this but I believe I have read multiple places that Amsoil might even be the same exact stuff as the GM syncro friction modified. I just ordered the amsoil stuff

^^^ That's what I've "heard" also.

Amsoil is top dog for oil, so I have no doubt it's superior to the Honda MTF. Amsoil MTF lists on the bottle is a replacement for GMSM friction modified, and Honda MTF.

I just changed my MTF ten minutes ago, went from GMSM to Amsoil.
