Hey guys,
I can't believe it's been over year and half since I was last on this site. Since my daughter was born back in March of 2002, I kind of had a realignment of my priorities.
Anyway, I was one of the first people in the Boston area to get a TL-S back in March 2001. Now with the 2004 TL out I was curious as to why they did not make a TL-S. Does anyone have any information as to when/if the next generation TL-S will be built and what kind of specs we can expect? I would hope they would make an AWD option to compete with the new G35.
The last thing I want to do is jump the gun and get a TLP when a new TL-S may be only a year or so away. Besides, I only have 50000 miles so I can be patient.
If this was already covered somewhere else, I'm sorry to be repetitious but I did not want to go through the search mode. Thanks!!

At this point there are only rumors, so you will have to be patient. However, when I got my TL, they swore up and down that this new 3rd Gen 270hp was the replacement to the TL-S, but that could have been just to sell the current model.

At least test drive it, you might not be able to wait.

that is what it said on acura's website too in the virtual showroom. they said the new TL replaces the TL-S and there is no "S" model offered this year. There is however an A-Spec version with body kit, 18 inch wheels and beefed up suspension. but who knows if they make an "S" model in the future.
