Newbie w/Pics 07 Type-S
I just purchased an 07 Certified Acura TL Type-S with 6K miles. It has 6 speed manual transmission and part of the carbon fiber interior. I'm a first time Acura owner and have a bunch of questions.
I was looking at the body kit in the accessories book and wanted to know if that the A-Spec kit everyone's talking about? Also, I don't see a big difference between my side skirts / rear bumper and the ones in the book. I searched but couldn't find any pics of an 07 Type-S with the Acura body kit. Can someone please point me to some pics??
I want to lower my car about 1" to 1.5" but dont want to give comfortability. Can someone suggest the best spring/struts to lower my car without sacrificing the ride?
Is it possible to keep the TPM sensors on after market wheels?
Oh and I searched and found lots of threads but couldnt pinpoint specific answers..
Thanks in advance for helping a newbie out.

To answer your questions - Yes it is possible to keep the TPMS sensors. Some wheels will have "built in" space for the sensors right at the valves. Others you can use straps to mount them. Either way, you can keep them. Do a search on the forum and you'll find many members who have after-market wheels with TPMS.
Regarding lowering the car - you can start with the A-Spec suspension from Acura. You'll probably get a drop of around .75" and won't really give up any ride comfort. Beyond that, and you'll have to search around here. There will be MANY members with MANY different opinions on suspension and ride quality; but, there's lots of experience backing up those opinions. Have fun with it!
Best of luck!

most everyone on here with adjustable suspension (coilovers) have tein,i have megan coilovers, and i am very happy with them,in my opinion u can get a very comfortable ride with them. as far as i know i am the only one on this forum with megan coilovers..so u might not want to just take my word for it.

Welcome to the NBP family... Thank god you didn't choose WDP the welcoming wouldn't be so warm :o ) That is one bad ass bike! Any questions you might have I suggest you doing a search for as it's likely already been answered. My first suggestion for you car is to take it to a tint shop and get those rear 1/4 windows done properly. (do a search and you'll know what i'm talking about)
Let the modding begin! Get her debadged asap and get that dealer advertisement off the front!

Congrats on the new ride. I just copped mine about a month ago. I'm mad because its in the shop right now. Some pregnant chich ran into the back of me while I was at a stop sign. I guess she wasnt paying attention. Shes ok...she went to the hospital and stayed for a few hours...but her and her unborn baby are fine. But yea....Good choice on the color. I decided on the MRP, not too many people have that color!
