It was about 4 hours. All I paid for was the supplies, he did the spraying for free. Apparently YouTube pays him for the videos. If I had more mods, darker tint, smoked tail lights it probably would've looked a lot better. What's the trim piece called on the trunk with the reverse lights and tag? Mine is a bluish color that they had to peel and the blue/black irked me.

That's not too bad. Even if you were heavily modded, I don't think it would've looked any better though, no offense. I don't think the TL can pull off matte black very well, especially dipped.

Yeah I liked it for a whole day. Everyone said they loved it but when I peeled it everyone realized the plasti dip sucked. I was apprehensive about doing it at first. My plan was to do white, I took off work to get it done, went to Home Depot to get it and all they had was black so against my better judgement I went with it. I can't decide if I want to buy a bike or sink more money into the TL and get it right. If the latter, I want to change the color. Any advice? Most people are telling me to go with original color but I'm really wanting black or white.

It's an old car, not very smart to put that kind of money into it. A good paint job could cost 4k plus, and you said you paid 7k for it. I would leave it as is and maybe get your front repainted if its bad.

The fronts not fked up. The clear is coming off the roof and whatever dick bag owned it before me had the back bumper and one of the rear doors painted the wrong color. It's barely noticeable but still irks me. I guess I could just get the roof, door, bumper repainted.
As the car gets older and hence cheaper, I wouldn't expect things to get much better. Natural progression of car forums?
