Just had to say hi to you all. We just got our new '07 TL S in WHite Pearl. WOW what a great car! Love it. I traded in my 4Runner for it. Wasn't sure about getting a car because we already have a C6. So now I feel sporty to as a mom! Dad has the Vette and I got the TLS. What a great car!
Plans: Air intake, Tint windows a must here in AZ. Also want to make it sound better!
Question for you, there is already a light blue tint on the windows, can you tint over it or does that have to be taken off first before you put new tint on? Is it hard to get off? Also what tint do you all have? Can you post picks of your tinted windows? Do you know of any good tint places in Phoenix, AZ area? Near Glendale, SunCity, Surprise?

i would suggest having a tint shop remove the blue tint before putting on what you want...tinting over the blue would cause an odd color i think...like dark blue?

my '04 TL came with black tint already on it...35% i think...don't currently have any daytime pictures to show you, though, on here...

if your tl was not tinted already what you're seeing is the factory ~17% tint. it's in the glass, not applied on top of the glass like aftermarket tint so u won't be able to remove it...at least for the 04-06 models. i imagine the 07's are the same way.

 

I am still on the honeymoon, but I think you'll like your TL-S better everyday. This is the funnest, fastest, most comfortable car I 've ever owned.

Not clear if the tint you are talking about is the factory glass or something the dealer added. If dealer added, then yes, I think it'll need to be removed before re-tinting. If factory glass, just tint over it. I am sure a good shop will give you the best advice.
