...and I highly recommend a tint - even 30 or 35% will look elegant. Just don't leave it bare. NBPs, especially, without tint looks soooo wrong.

Nice! I just recently bought an 08 WDP TL-S for my fiancee, and she loves it. Asian girl driving a TL is hot! By the way, you must be from Fresno. I am from Fresno as well.

Congratulation!

I'm newbie too. I just bought an 06 AM TL w/navi. Enjoy and love it so much. I'm glad that I have picked TL over the 8th Gen Accord coupe.

Preach on man! We need some more AM love on here. Forget this WDP vs. NBP war. AM FTW! HAHA! But I must say, NBP and WDP are real nice.

Anyways, Welcome to the forum!

I am really feeling the lip spoiler. Does it come standard on the base (08) TL like it does on the TL-S?

Unfortunately, the spoiler doesn't come standard like the Type S. It's optional.

trust me, whether you like it or not, you WILL be modding that car. I suggest saving up now.

first you'll go, "hmm my car would look nice with some tint." on goes the tint.

then you'll see an NBP with some beautiful rims and go, "that would look nice on my car" on go the rims.

then you'll see cars on here riding an inch from the ground, and lovin' it, and you'll go "hmm, my car would lok nice with a drop" on go the coilovers.

and so on.

congrats!

You are so right. I just got my first mod after 3yrs. I tried holding out but finally tinted my windows the other day. Now I have the mod bug. I have been eying the lip spoiler. I probably want to get a RSB. Ahh, this is so aggravating. I don't think I'll ever get rims or drop the car but there are definitely other mods I wanna get.

Did you get that as an add on when you purchased the car from the dealer? And if you did, if you don't mind my asking, how much?

Well, well, well...here it is that I have company in La Casa del NBP and I have yet to introduce myself....welcome sweet lil Lady Bug! I applaud your choice of Black on Black!

I am, by popular demand...Darksom1 (break that name down in your spare time sugar - let it marinate for now)!!!

But I digress...Attention WDP, ASM, SSM and all the rest of you acronyms...the lady has chosen NBP! And, if you take notice of the order of the cars in that quote I listed above, you will see that...

ONCE YOU GO BLACK...YOU NEVER GO BACK!!

On the sticker price, it was listed as $875 but you know that's BS. The Sales Mgr told me it was going to cost $475 and then he said he'd eat up a bill after we explained, the whole purchase price we asked for (including lip spoiler) was supposed to be on the car from the beginning. He said OK so $375 and got it added on before I took it off the showroom floor...

that doesnt look like the carbon fiber trim in my 06, it looks almost wood-like in those pics. did they change the trim or is it just some trick photography?

Changed it on on the 07 and 08's. Only the Type-S has the feaux CF trim now.
