Newb to the forum

I have just purchased a used 06 TL - Anthrocyte with Camel interior. This is my first Asian built car in 20yrs of car ownership and I have to say I couldn't of have been more impressed (I was a BMW Mastertech until a yr ago so I have driven some serious rides, Modded M6's etc) with this car! I will probably never buy any other brand from now on, I guess I shouldn't of been so apprehensive about Asian cars (I am what you consider a Muscle Jerk and I do have a completely bad ass hot rod) because the build quality and engine smoothness and performance are completely impressive to me. So forgive me when I ask you guy's basic question's as I plan on installing a supspension and body kit. Anyway just introducing myself.

Thanks for the welcome, I too am a DAWG!! Born and raised in Buckhead / Vinnings, now I live in FL. Oh yeah I hate tech almost as much as the Gaytors - I married a gator (Last year was really fun). My first upgrade will be to tint the windows and I'm looking at suspensions for the first mod.

Welcome, AcuraConvert!

We'll do our best to assist you. Did you have anything in mind for your suspension and body kit? Throw up some pics of that beautiful car and the musclecar as well!

I have looked at 4 kit's for the suspension, I really want to retain the great ride but just more or less close the gap to the wheels (I plan on a wheel upgrade when it needs tires so I'm taking that into consideration also). I am getting ready to go and clean the piss out of both cars and put some pics up, hopefully have them up tonight.

My other car is 1995 TA convertable, the drivetrain is a 383 with ported Trick Flow heads custom road racing cam and just about every other possible forged internal - six speed with a Ford 9in rear end (I broke 2 gm rears without slicks) and finally a complete NOS set up from tank to TBody with spray ports incorporated into it(175hp shot) and C6 vette rims. It's just a toy not a serious drag / road racing car, It has really nice white leather interior - white car - powdercoated roll cage to match car and a total Alpine stereo set up and since I live in FL of course I kept the AC - It dynoed at 490hp to the wheels. Letting out the clutch is just plain silly at how the tires spin.

The NBP owners will be horrified by that "anthracite" mix-up!

You've got an Asian nameplate car with some foreign parts, but the TL is built in the US.

Welcome to AZ!
