New Type S Owner...

I just picked up an 07 TL Type S on Sunday. 2 days later and I'm still smiling. I love it. I've always been a Honda fan, but my last "sport" car was an 01 VW GTI VR6. In between that was an 01 Cadillac Deville and most recently an 04 Honda Element. I found a great deal on an off lease one owner trade in. The car is spotless and very well cared for.

I've included a couple of obligatory pics for your viewing pleasure.

Now, I have a couple of quick questions.

1. What kind of exhaust products are out there to change the exhaust note without making it too obnoxious? I would like to achieve the sound of the stock exhaust, but amplified a bit, a growling throaty sound is what I'm after. I got this in my VW by getting a new muffler, but not sure what would work on a TL.

2. I notice a little alternator noise when using the Handfree Link on a phone call. There is a whine that moves with the RPMs of the car.

3. Is there any way to display the name of the caller on the HFL screen on incoming calls?

4. I have a couple of minor issues I'm that I'm going to take to the dealer. Is there anything else I should look for that is commonly a problem? I only have about 5k left on the bumper to bumper and would like to identify anything I can that could be a problem.

-The passenger front window will not work in auto up, it stops a a few inches into travel and reverses, but I can override it by holding up on the switch.
-The back seat passenger side female seatbelt buckle doesn't latch
-HFL alternator whine

Thanks for the look, I'm in for a lot of reading around this forum.

First of all, Congrats on the new purchase.

As for the Exhaust, try this:
RV6 V3 Long Tube J-Pipe Release 04-08 TL
Everything that you described as wanting is here with this product.

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/rv6-v3-long-tube-j-pipe-release-04-08-tl-all-trims-%2A%2Aupdate-page-4%2A%2A-773591/

Good luck with getting the answers for your other questions.

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm already getting answers. I found a TSB for the whine and it's under warranty, so is the window, and I'm sure the seatbelt is covered.

Congrats on the TL-S and welcome to AZ

Go on this site and register your TL-S:

http://owners.acura.com/

Search in there and see if you need to have any recall work done. A common one is the power steering hose. Get all the work done you can before the warranty is up. 5K miles doesn't last long in my neck of the woods. Again congrats!

for a decent sound that won't be too ricey or loud, you would prolly like mid muffler delete and a CAI. Hmm.. btw.. what's the link to the TSB for the whine.. I'm gonna actually try and look for it right now cause I get that too... and it's annoying !!!!

Simple enough.. looks like Im going to do it myself tomorrow. Looks like it shouldn't take more than 1/2 an hour. Anyone done this yet?
