New TL shoppin'

Looking for advice in my pursuit of a new TL.

A not so near by dealer has an 05 6mt WDP parchment non navi left on the lot- and will go below invoice.

I would prefer navi- though not that strong on it.

Feel like I gotta rush to possibly take advantage of the savings-

Question for non navi TLers. I have seen a few pics of the screens on non navi TL's- some have blue backgrounds with white font, and some are regular LCD backgrounds with black font. Can anyone confirm which year the blue screen started? I know the coloring shouldn't matter-though I think the blue looks much better.

I will most likely drive to this dealer to check out the TL- but would like to confirm this first.

AFAIK, the '04 and '05 TLs have a black background with a white font... the '06 introduced the blue-backlight background for the radio and clock.

Yep, the blue screen signifies an '06. I had an '06 loaner while my '05 was in the shop a short while back. I think the blue screen looks odd in daylight, but is very sharp at night. I still prefer the black screen on the '05s though.
