I just signed papers for a 2004 TL w. NAV and have to return my 2000 TL. I leased the old TL through Keybank. I have to schedule an appointment for them to inspect the car. I am over on mileage and am worried about the damages they might charge me for the car. I have scrathes on the car (nothing crazy), three different types of tires on the car (I had a couple of incidents and did not want to put on the Michelins when I was going to return the car in a couple of months), and my brakes in the front are worn. The cars state inspection runs out in three days and I don't want to do that because I will return the car hopefully by the end of the week. I am going to detail the car- this should get rid of some scratches. Does anyone have any suggestions to help minimize wear and tear charges during inspections? Does anyone have any experiences with Keybank? My new lease is through AHFC (smarter choice)!!

 

I forgot to mention that I have been in two accidents with the car and have replaced the front and back bumpers. Will this effect the wear and tear charges?

 

Dont mention the accident. have the detail person color sand the car to get those scratches out.

The tire you should haev to worry about. The brakes they probably wont even notice and the inspection you shouldnt have to do since your not keeping hte car for the next year or two. Its their responsiblity.
