Any plans to mod the TL? I know it feels soft with lots of roll but with a set of good tires you would be surprised how quickly it will get around the track. With a-spec suspension and swaybars I was able to beat the coworkers' WRX and Cayman on a track day.

The TL will grow on you. I felt the same, I sold my S13 240sx with a RB25det out of a R33 skyline making 530 to the rear wheels for my TL for the same reason... girlfriend wanted me to "grow up". Only complaint is the FWD, if the TL was RWD it would be a 10x better car! Just do some mods and the TL becomes a different car fast!

to be honest its not a shabby car for the price, i picked it up for $13,000 with 89,000 miles its fully loaded with navi and bun toasters,
its slowly growing on me but the styling blends in with every other car the handling is horrible, acceleration is sluggish and steering response is bad also, im sure some modifications will help correct that
but for the price range it was a very good deal, i was also looking at the g35s, saab 9-3 aeros, volvo s60r also in the same price range
the tl was a great value for the price, also easy to fix and cheap !
any of those cars would feel the same coming from a fully modified evo x, with full race suspension and runs low 12s in the quarter mile
so don’t take it personally my fellow tl owners =>,
but for luxury wise its a major upgrade, i love the quality of materials and the ride comfort,
for mods im looking into some nicer wheels of course, the factory body kit and probably some coilovers, but that will be down the road,
for the mean time i want to get some maintenance work done, i.e spark plugs, transmission flush, and clean out the engine, maybe put the ricer cold air intake on it, =>
i look foward to being on the forums, and meeting new faces, i would love to meet up with some local TL owners also
