New TL Owner

Hi everyone, I'm David . I just traded my SSM 02 Accord V6 Coupe EX-L for an 05 SSM Acura TL. And I couldn't be any happier with the upgrade .

Congrats on the upgrade David Welcome to AZ. You may want to register her at www.myacura.com. Save your Navi and Radio codes there for safe keeping.

LoveMyTL-S- speaking of Navi and Radio codes- I am looking at picking up a new to me TL sometime in the next few months. I was looking at one at a rpivate dealer, but they did not have the codes for the Radio- does that render it useless?

No you just call Acura with your VIN # and they will give you the radio and nav. codes. I'd open the glovebox and check on the sides first though, maybe they just missed them.

Looks good

I went from a 6th gen Accord to a TL too. Albeit mine was a 4-popper sedan, not a V6 Coupe. Still, good upgrade.

Lots of good info on here for mods and taking care of your tranny. Good luck!

And the dealer selling the car should get off their duff and get the codes. Not the person looking at buying the car.

Thanks for all the welcomes & heads up guys . I made what I like to call a "blue-print" of plans for the TL even before upgrading to the TL . So with all the help & info on here, I will slowly piece my TL together .

Yeah, they were on a card in the pocket of the black leather pouch where all the owner's manual and booklets were put in.

Thanks to the cracked stock rim on the front passenger side that made it unsafe for me to drive around with the stockers on. I had to bring out the ASA V2's while I'm waiting on the replacement one I ordered. Hankook W409 ipike winter tires goes on them once the replacement rim comes in.
