Hey guys. Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I picked up a new 06 TL (black on black 6MT w/navi) for 30,800 in Milwaukee, WI. There were only 4 06 MTs with navi left in the milwaukee/chicago area and this was the best price I could get. Thought I would include that info for those who are currently shopping in the area.

So far, I love the car. Yeah, the torque steer when accelerating through a turn is a biotch, but it is a daily driver for me, not an auto cross car. The only thing that has bothered me thus far is the few interior rattles. Im a Ford technician and have driven tons of new fords and most dont have the rattles of the TL. LoL, or maybe I dont hear them because I didnt just pay $30K for the car......But I am anal and tend to hear everything, so I will go through and felt every clip and friction point I find.

I just ordered my Menzerna polish kit and plan to clay/polish it next weekend, so Ill wait on the pics till then. This seems to be an awesome forum with a good group of mature posters, so I hope to contribute whatever I can.

Black on black in the winter in Wisconsin?? You must look forward to lots of car washing!
Sorry to hear about the rattles, though. Just make sure it's not stuff you're carrying in the cupholders or door compartments. One of my metal coffee mugs makes a "rattle" in the cupholder, but the noise appears to come from the front console above the radio; noise goes away when I reposition or remove the mug.
