Yeah, Uh, did the banner at the top and the sponsored forums give away the fact i am a sponsor? Anyway...

The kit will have the option of coming Prepainted. That will be extra obviously. also, it will have actual metal fastners embedded in the urethane. Extremely high quality stuff, unlike the folded uretheane other companies are offering. Our kits will come in a freight box and won't be folded or bent in any way. We are still taking deposits, and we are halfway to the 25 kit mark. Same supplier as L-Sportline, and Saleen kits, very high quality stuff, hence the price. Full Front and full rear bumpers with replacement side skrts would commonly be that price. Here are the options on the front bumper, still working out sides and rear pricing, this should whet your appetite in the meantime:

3rd Gen Acura TL Polyurethane Front Bumper
-Polyurethane only: $490
-Prepped and Primered: $620
-Painted OEM color: $690

(Shipping ranges from $90 to CA residents to $180 to NY / FL residents, same freight price for front bumper or full kit)

The Front Bumper comes unfolded in a box ready to attach, hardware not included.
Professional installation is required.
Uses same mounting points and hardware as stock bumper.
Mesh on lower vents is included in either black or silver.
Upper grille is not included, and OEM grille can be installed.
OEM fitment and high quality construction.

BTW, we absolutely NEED a 3g TL preferably with an A-Spec kit in the CA, Compton Area for a few weeks to use for the prototype kit. Free kit for the volenteer. This will help us be on schedule.

Ron, will the bumpers match if a pre-painted kit is bought? It is already difficult enough to match the colors, so is it a high quality paint job, or would it be better off going ot a loccal body shop?

the supplier who we are working with explained to me that they make OEM parts for Toyota, and that japanese painted parts are very acurate, as opposed to Ford parts. never had a prob with the toyota paint and had a few issues with the Ford whites. But I was assured that the paint would be the exact same paint Acura uses for its cars. That isn't to say that your car's paint might change a bit or need to be waxed and cleaned to match. If you are not sure, you can always order the kit preprimered or pure polyurethane and have a shop paint it for you. We just wanted to put the options out there for those to choose. the painting is the easy part, the real difference is in the preparation of the urethane and the primer.

Who has or is thinking about pre-ordering the body kit now before it even comes out??

I think I am going to wait and see when it comes out with all the details ...

What do you think?

Hey Ron, is there going to be Mesh on all the vents on the front I count 6 now or is it just the 2 lower larger vents? And if no what will be in the 4 small ones? Also what about the side vents?

Is it me or does that spolier on the back look different than the Acura one? Is that an available option from RonJon?

-different spoiler, just a concept right now.
-mesh on all the vents except the grille area, that will be where the OEM grille will go back in.
-won't be parting out on front bumpers just yet, only full kits.
-that molding is not included, just in the image.
-no idea on the feight to canada just yet.

can you photoshop a image of the front body kit with the stock grill instead of your custom one?

The difference is not the little mesh on the side of the grill...it's the grill itself that is different...the mesh is there regardless on the type of the grill...either way it looks kewl...

By may or earlier, we only have a few kits left out of the 25. And I will have pics of the process by tomorrow.
