New rattle. I did a search and cannot find this rattle complaint anywhere. This is a rattle/knocking sound coming from what sounds like outside under the passenger door. I only noticed it because my wife was riding and she asked if I could hear it. I could only hear it after I turned the stereo down. It did not seem to matter if I was hitting bumps or not. Checked for the obvious.. anything loose under the car and could not find anything.

 

Do you have a pair of sunglass stored on the passenger side door panel?

 

I noticed it a couple weeks ago......its the storage pocket rattling against the door

 

I had the same issue during the first 2 weeks of ownership. It was due to the sun glasses holder insert in the frt psgr storage pocket. I removed the insert, and it was gone.

I guess you can put some self-adhesive felt along the groove and see if it goes away.

i have one that come from the pass. armrest if you hold it down the rattle stops and if you let go it continues. its worse when the radio is on...

 

I had rattle in the cluster area fixed today at the dealer. "Missing lower dash cover rubber ring. Re-installed rubber ring and resecured with double sided tape".

I wish I had the 2005 service manual to look through. I haven't seen it available at HelmInc. yet. Only 2004. I know 2004 is almost the same, but I figure I might as well get the 2005 to cover the subtle changes.
