New pricing on 04 TL's!

I can offer special pricing to all of you on 2004 TL's w/o Navigation. Pricing is as follows:

NY Customers(8.625% Tax):
36/12k-499
39/12k-485
42/12k-455
48/12k-447

NJ Customers(6% Tax):
36/12k-475
39/12k-460
42/12k-433
48/12k-428

All pricing is with $0 down, Tax is included. The total due at signing is only the DMV fee, which is anywhere from $150-$250, depending on where you're registering the car.

My Special pricing is only good until the end of the year (12/31/03). These are balloon leases, in which there are no bank fee's, no security deposit's, no 1st payment. If you would like to put some money down to lower the payments, I can also do that for you as well, just let me know how much you would want to put down.

I can offer these leases to anyone in any state! If you're in another state where there is a different tax rate, or are willing to come to NY to take possession of the car, let me know and I will give you pricing for your area as well.

lease deals please help me & my father in law

I'm going to have my father-in-law contact you. He's a dentist in Westport, CT and he wants to lease the new TL.

Would you mind telling me if you think I got a good deal?...

Traded in early a 2002 TL-S w/navi on a 48 month lease with 20 months left, and 41K miles on it (it was a 12K miles per year lease, my miles were pretty high). I believe the payoff amount was around $24K.

to get out of my lease, I put down $4500 on a TL with Navi and my payment in California with tax included is $510 per month for 48 months, residual is $17,850. Car included wheel locks, trunk tray, mud guards and of course floor mats. Also, I got a WDP with quartz which I had a very hard time finding one of.

I really appreciate your help, as I'm getting frustrated hearing some of the claims people are making of fantastic deals on this website.

Can my father in law call you at your office?

It's hard to tell if you got a "good deal" when you're breaking a lease, there is no such thing as a good deal when the bank has the advantage over you because you don't want the car anymore, it leaves them with the upper hand by charging the early termination fees and other nonsense, if you don't accept, it's not their loss, it's yours because they are still getting paid, know what I mean?

Sticker price in Buffalo and Rochester area. Syracuse told me over the phone the would not discount. I was able to get body side molding at no extra charge on my Black/Ebony 6 MT.
No problems with the car either.

Balloon's are only relevant in NY. The "owner" of the car, the leasing company (read American Honda Finance) can, in NY only (and in Rhode Island leases over 36 months?) be held liable for any accidents. Consequently, many leasing companies have and continue to pull out of NY leasing. In in place, they sell you the car, make a loan of 100% (or less the cap cost reduction), figure the payment over a much longer term so that at then end of 36 (or whatever) months, the amount owed is exactly equal to your residual. Then they agree to buy the car back at the residual.

Works similar to a lease, but they don't own the car. There are other minor differences, but the main issue is that you have to pay the sales tax on the full amount of the purchase price, not just the amount leased.

Hey Shoofin', what do you want for a Non-Nav 39 mo, zip down, 15K lease (and, if you have it 18K). This is for a friend.

This type of lease allows for a lower rental charge with a large, or balloon, payment at the end of the term. Properly structured, the money from the sale of the vehicle by the lessor (the finance company) will provide the funds for this balloon payment. The lessee takes the depreciation risks and if the expected funds on sale are less than expected, he will be expected to find the balance. This type of lease is not suited to vehicles with volatile residuals, nor where a lease extension may be necessary.

I decided to check on this website because a few of the clients I have helped suggested I do so. I have been the Sales Manager at Keyes Acura for over 5 years and I welcome any member to call me directly at my office at 818-907-4103. Inventory levels on the new 2004 Tl have become much better lately. Most colors are available. Navigation Tl's are a little harder to find currently but in the next few months that should get better as well. So why am I here tonight leaving this message..One. I have found over the years that I may not sell everyone a car but most of the dealers will be pretty close no matter where you go if you are educated on the market and I am open to answer questions even if I do not get the sale. 2) I have found recently that if I have the color and model I can usually make the deal anyway. and 3) we have the biggest inventory so just out of the amount of product we get I can fit most offers. To answer an earlier post dealers are not punished for discounting the cars. and our allocation is not based on that. Most Manufacturers have a turn and earn policy. (more you sell more you get) (I have seen many post's in here about who the biggest volume dealer is in LA)..Truth.. we are..have been 3 years in a row. all a client has to do is call American Honda to find that out. 3 years to be exact. and also a Precision Team Dealer 2 Years running . So consider this an invitation to see if I can be competitive. or consider this to call me to ask me a question about current programs that us "dealer guys" can offer you. Bottom line all the information you can arm yourself with as a consumer will only help you make your buying decision.. These were my numbers on the lease of an 04 TL (no nav)

$1000.00 Total out of pocket

$427.00 per month + Taxes for 42 months (12k per year)

A free Sony T616 Mobile Phone (unlocked)

I hope you all can use this info to get the best deal possible on a new 2004 TL lease.

I am able to take off a bit over $1,000 off list price for TL's without Navi, but cars with Nav I can only discount about $500 off list.

Lastly, PLEASE don't e-mail me just to price shop when you live in a state that isn't even remotely close to NY. I'm here to help everybody out, but checking a price from somebody in the east coast when you live in the west coast isn't exactly the smartest thing to do, know what I mean? You can compare prices, but you never know if you'll get a better (or worse) price from a dealer in your area..

FYI

Just wanted to let the other members know that Ed has been in communication with me and has been extremely fair and straight-up (no bullsh%t). He is willing to deal and locate the vehicle you want. If you are a "buyer" and ready to make a deal (and near NY) he absolutely worth taking to IMO.

Two good friends here in So FL got the same deal on a new automatic without nav.

$399/Mo plus tax
12,000 miles per year
42 months
59% residual value
$595 total out of pocket including first month's payment, tax, tags, title to drive off with the car.

Thumbs up Finally got mine

Hi everyone,
Got the call yesterday telling me it would be in Saturday. Sure enough I went down as planned this morning with nothing in writing, just our verbal deal made with my deposit four weeks ago. I will try to post the pic. But it went relatively painlessly today. Contact Brian Alegado (salesman) and Joey (sales mgr.) at South Bay (Power) Acura in Torrance. They matched a deal I had got quoted in a farther dealer from home. I got the protection pack. at no charge and they could not have been nicer. No pressure to add any unwanted options. I had planned to add the extended Acura 7/100K $0 deduct. and Lo Jack lifetime. Tell them Bruce referred you and they will honor the same deal for you. Could not have had a better experience (short of a larger discount). Feel free to ask me for other details. I contacted every dealer South of Sacramento. It worked out great for me.

Decided not to drive it home since I was having Lo Jack and wood inserts installed on Monday at the dealer. Once I get it I want to keep it and not go back and forth to the dealer. I am having the black carbor inserts removed and the wood tone ones installed like on Parchment/Camel interiors. I prefer the wood look. I am also ordering the additional accent pieces for the car. About $200 on the internet.

I was waiting for a red/ebony, but it may be months for that (w' Nav). So, I went in to day and settled on your combo. I was interested in the ebony for not showing the dirt, but the quartz had a really nice two-tone look, some gray and some black. It's a great combo!

I felt the same way about the combination. My first consideration was which interior had the wood look. Next was picking the combo. So once I determined that I could get the wood look for any interior (amazing what $ can accomplish) there was no doubt I wanted the combo I got. I also would like to offer my $.02 on negotiating. I didn't want to finish my search for the best deal intil I knew the dealer would stand behing something of a price. I didn't want to order or be on some list without it. I felt that (as some others have suggested in this forum) I was not done until I had that final out of pocket price. I am still getting e-mails from dealers following up on initial talks, but only a couple were willing to discuss actual dollars with me. My feeling was what do they have to hide or gain by not being specific. I wanted to be treated right and dealt with in a professional manner. When I am showing houses to my Clients, I don't show them anything unless they are pre-approved fora dollar range amount. Then when showing I always discuss the monthly payment that property will be costing them. Nothing hidden and no games played. I negotiated for my car in the same vane. As such I found only a couple of dealers fitting that level of customer service. Heck I had plenty tell me "MSRP" as their price, even as late as this prior Thursday. Good luck with your process.

Bruce,

Thanks for the input. It wasn't until yesterday that I even was able to find a car that I wanted (non-red) that I can reasonably expect to get delivered. I plan to spend some of today getting to a final purchase price. My aim is to get the same deal you and others in SoCal have gotten, even on the hard to find Navis.

The way you described dealing is exactly how I'd like to go through the process, and I think with the info I've gotten here I should be able to get to a fair price. I certainly could go to Torrance if need be, so I appreciate the reference!

I'll be picking up my Anthracite/Ebony TL with auto and Navigation some time this week from Montclaire Acura in New Jersey. I live in Washington, D.C. and the local dealers don't offer much beyond $500-700 off MSRP.

The deal that I'm getting is $33,800 out-the-door, including the protection package. That's $1,400 off MSRP plus about $200 worth of accessories.
