New owner w/questions!
Hey guys, I just got a 07' TL-S w/ nav a few days ago, its an automatic tho 
lol. Anyways my question is do coilovers for the base model fit with the type s? I'm not able to find too much for my type-s at the moment for suspension. And another question is as far as mods go for performance, what are my options? I'm not looking to do too much for performance but am curious.

Yes, all coilovers/suspension for the 3G TL are interchangeable.

As mentioned you can use the suspension from other models in the TL-S. The TL-S does have a uprated suspension over the Base model. The springs and dampers are more performance oriented, and they have rigid upper mount bushings installed for better road feedback.
So while you could get any old aftermarket suspension from a 3rd generation TL and have it fit, putting a Base suspension system on is actually sort of a downgrade.
For performance you definitely want to be looking at an intake manifold spacer and a j-pipe. The j-pipe is the equivalent of a header on this car. Learn more about this and the rest of the exhaust layout of the TL here:
